Sinergitas Potensi Ekonomi Di Pulau Jawa Pasca Pandemi Covid-19
Abstract
This article discusses the economic potential that exists on the island of Java. After knowing the base sector on the island of Java, synergy can be carried out between the base sector in each province on the island of Java in order to improve the economy after the COVID-19 pandemic in Indonesia. The contribution of Gross Domestic Product by Island in 2021 is still supported and dominated by Java, which is 57.89%. The leading sectors are corporate services in DKI Jakarta Province, processing industry in West Java Province and Central Java Province, provision of accommodation and food and drink in DI Yogyakarta and East Java Provinces, as well as real estate in Banten Province. The basic sector is expected to be able to stimulate the growth of the non-base sector so that it becomes a potential sector, so that in the end all economic sectors together support increased economic growth in Indonesia. For this reason, the government must start redeveloping the non-basic sector. Among them are the agriculture, forestry, and fishery sectors in DKI Jakarta Province. Mining and quarrying sector in West Java Province, DI Yogyakarta Province, and Banten Province. Lastly, the electricity and gas procurement sector in Central Java and East Java provinces.
